Only when they have meat, fruits, vegetables and beans can they live a healthy life. I’m not an avid meat eater, and I often ridicule vegetarians who only eat vegetables. But vegetarianism does have many health benefits. Many studies have shown that eating more fruits and vegetables reduces the risk of heart disease, obesity, high blood pressure, intestinal disease and diabetes. In China in the mid-1980s, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia were rare.
we eat 10 times more meat now than we did 40 years ago. We eat more and more fat, but less and less grains, fruits and vegetables. In addition, people have more and more choices for sweets, such as cakes, juice, ice cream and so on. Take water as an example. In the past, people’s drinks were mainly boiled water, tea and soft drinks, but now there are more and more kinds of soft drinks. People gradually regard these drinks as daily drinking water.

Under such a diet structure, it is good and healthy to advocate eating more vegetables and fruits, but there is no need to go to the extreme of vegetarianism.
a large number of fruits and vegetables ensure the body’s demand for vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E. These vitamins contain antioxidants that can prevent cancer and heart disease. These have played a great role in our health after eating too much meat, but we don’t have to be vegan. The most important thing for our health is to keep the nutrition balance. So my point of view is that diet can determine life and death, but there is no need to be a vegetarian. As long as we control our mouths in life, we will not pay the cost of our lives for our mouths.
